Would I recommend this book? Nope.

The Everlasting is a never-ending love story. Literally. This tale tracks historian Owen Mallory as he studies Dominion's greatest war hero, Una Everlasting. He is sent back in time over and over again to help perfect the future of Dominion- but her begins to wonder how much power he has in their story.
I didn't personally love this book. It is fine if you want a basic romance book with a slight magical influence. The magic structure is very simple without intricacy, as is the story line. The characters are fairly one-dimensional and I felt that the entire story fell flat. While time travel is clearly a main theme for the book, I felt that the story dragged on for far too long. I wasn't drawn into the world, the characters, or the book as I would have liked to be. The only thing this book made me feel was boredom.
There is open door spice, but it is, like the characters it details, pretty flat and basic. I'd rate the spice 2/5. Book overall 2.5/5.
